Sean Patrick Maloney (born July 30, 1966) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 18th congressional district since 2013. His district serves a large swath of exurban territory north of New York City, and includes Newburgh, Beacon and Poughkeepsie. He is a member of the Democratic Party. He was a candidate for New York Attorney General in the 2018 election, losing to Letitia James in the Democratic primary. Wikipedia.
