ABOUT US

I created Timecyclopedia, to track the physical time  of people, places and things in our world past and present. This is a concept I came up with back in 1979 after I graduated from college and began my career in television broadcasting and production.

Growing up, I was a very creative and inquisitive kid. I wanted to know how things worked and why. I wanted to know why people did what they did in their lifetimes. I wanted to understand why and how humankind built societies, cultures and religions.  I am so happy my parents encouraged us to read and seek knowledge. Their investment in that set of World Book Encyclopedias in 1965 changed my life.

One fundamental revelation and lesson, I have learned, is there is constant change in life. We cannot escape this reality. Everything has a beginning, middle and end. Whether evidenced in the daily weather, change of seasons, the rise and fall of civilizations, the advancements of science and technology, the very stars in the universe or life and death itself, the clock is ticking.

What will you do with your time in life? TM
