Carolyn Bosher Maloney (née Carolyn Jane Bosher, February 19, 1946) is an American politician serving as the U.S. Representative for New York's 12th congressional district since 2013, a Democrat, and previously for New York's 14th congressional district from 1993 to 2013. The district, numbered as the 14th congressional district from 1993 until redistricting in 2013, includes most of Manhattan's East Side, Astoria and Long Island City in Queens, Greenpoint, Brooklyn, as well as Roosevelt Island.
